"Liberty City, it's over"

No-one ever reads the manual, right? Well you should, because eagle-eyed gamers have claimed that one page of the latest Grand Theft Auto instalment’s manual hints at a fifth version of the popular game.

Turn to page 13 in the manual for Episodes from Liberty City - a disc-based version of GTA: IV updates The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony - and you will see a heart-shaped version of Liberty City ripped in two, along with the strapline: “Liberty City, it’s over!”.

But gamers have reported that in the bottom right-hand corner of the page – close to the words “Next Stop” - is a fake tear and the word “Seagull”. Humm…

Back in January Rockstar denied rumours that it will make a fifth version of GTA. But what else could page 13 mean?

Perhaps a third update to GTA:IV based somewhere frequented by seagulls? Brighton seafront, perhaps?

We’ll bring you more news as we have it. ®
